Clarence River Invitational

Clarence River Invitational (23/9/06) biggest bass. Caught by Police Fishing Club President, Nev Sternbeck.

It was 435mm, 1.7kg caught on a red and black spinnerbait in the Orara River from the snag in the background of the photo.

First cast to the snag busted off, second provoked a strike but did not connect, third hooked a fish but lost it at the boat, fourth had a fish follow the lure to the boat and fifth got this fish. Then not another bite on that snag.
